As with traditional catering menus, a single entree is typically selected for an entire
group. Please order one type of meal for your event and help us keep catering prices at the most reasonable level possible. Selected items on this catering menu

WE'RE HERE TO SERVE YOU!
We provide the best service when orders are placed well in advance. We request five days notice
whenever possible. Please call even when you aren't able to give us advance notice. Often we can
accommodate your request with items on hand.
Catering orders include white paper serving goods and plastic flatware for
the items ordered. Colored paper goods may be available when requested in
advance for an additional charge.
DELIVERY
Catering orders to schools are sent on school
lunch trucks when space is available. The delivery fee to schools is
$35.00 per trip when items cannot be delivered or picked up with the regular
lunch delivery.
Orders may be sent a day in advance when early serving is necessary, however, appearance may be affected
by early shipment. Also, orders may be picked up at the Central Kitchen loading dock (KSD Administration
Campus, Building E), any time between 6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Special delivery arrangements
are available for an additional charge.
Deliveries to Administration Center are free for
orders of $20.00 or more. A $10.00 delivery fee is charged when orders
are less than $20.00. Trays, pitchers and other central kitchen
property must be returned to central kitchen after catering events. If
central kitchen personnel must retrieve items from a location other than
where delivered a $10.00 pick up fee will be charged.
Please have a correct budget number or other payment information available when placing your order. An
expense transfer will be initiated by the Food and Nutrition Services office. Secondary schools using ASB
accounts must submit a completed "ASB Authorization for In-House Services" form in advance. The KSD
accounting department requires us to send PTA billings to the home of a PTA officer, rather than to the
school.
WE'LL DO THE LEG WORK
Food and Nutrition Services personnel are available to set up, serve and clean up at your event. The
current weekday charge is $25.00 per person, per hour. A rate of $35.00 per person,
per hour applies for weekends and evenings after 4:00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: All equipment in school kitchens is the property of Kent School District Food and
Nutrition Services. We require that a paid member of our staff be present whenever our facilities are
used.
IMPORTANT FOOD SAFETY INFORMATION
Current King County Health Department regulations require that a temporary permit be applied for in
advance for any function where commercially prepared or "permitted" food items are served. As
an approved
alternative to the temporary permit requirement, KSD food service personnel have authorization to oversee
on-site preparation and service of food, guaranteeing proper food handling procedures according to health
department guidelines.
