Georgia O'Keeffe

Georgia was born in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, on November 15, 1887. Ida Totto O'Keeffe was her mother. Frank O'Keeffe was her father. She lived on a busy farm. She is famous for her flowers, shells, and bones. "Georgia loved her fantasy world", her mother said. She was married to Alfred Stieglitz. He was a photographer, and he ran a small gallery called 291. Georgia went through lots of phases like the "blue lines phase". Georgia O'Keeffe painted until she was almost blind and lived in the desert until her death, in 1986, at the age of ninety-eight. She draws beautiful paintings. It's wonderful! ... by Briana
