KM Open House
September 11th, 6:30-8:30 pm

Follow your student’s schedule from first period through Advisory. You will get a feel for the student’s day and hear their teachers explain the class expectations and curriculum plans.  In the interest of time, this evening is not so much an opportunity to speak individually with each teacher as to meet them and as a group hear about their plans for your student.  Student-Led conferences in November or personal contact at a later time would be a good way to address individual concerns. 

FAMILY ACCESS
Access information is listed below and parents of secondary students can access student emergency contact information, assignments and grades, attendance, and class schedules by:

1. going to www.kent.k12.wa.us
2. selecting For Parents
3. going to Online Tools for Parents
4. selecting Family Access
5. selecting New Account Registration
6. providing the requested information including an e-mail address

After following the steps above, parents will receive their log-in information within two business days and thereafter be able to view the records of all students in KSD schools within a single family.
For grades 8-12, Family and Student Access login names and passwords have not been changed since last school year.  If parents have forgotten their login names and passwords, they can request that they be sent to their email address.  On the Family Access login screen at http://family.kent.wa-k12.net/ they can click the link for Forgot your login or password?
